Congressman Troy E. Nehls has recently posted a series of tweets criticizing Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and reaffirming his stance on immigration policy.
On July 30, 2025, Nehls wrote, “It’s obvious Jerome Powell has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He’s doing everything he can to hinder the Golden Age of America. He needs to be fired.”
The following day, July 31, 2025, Nehls emphasized his legislative priorities: “In Congress, I’m fighting for strong immigration policies that put the American people FIRST. “
Continuing his criticism of Powell on August 1, 2025, Nehls tweeted, “Jerome “Too Late” Powell needs to quit playing games and lower the rate!”
Troy Nehls is a U.S. Congressman who has represented his district since winning election in 2020 against Sri Preston Kulkarni with 51.5% of the vote. He secured re-election in subsequent cycles: defeating Jamie Jordan in 2022 with 62.2% and Marquette Greene-Scott in 2024 with 62.1%.
