Congressman Troy E. Nehls, currently serving Texas’ 22nd district, shared his thoughts and concerns on recent events through a series of tweets on July 7, 2025.

In one tweet, Nehls expressed relief that no Border Patrol agents were killed in a recent attack. He extended his prayers for the quick recovery of those injured and praised the nation’s Border Patrol agents as heroes.
