Congressman Troy E. Nehls, a Republican representative from Texas, recently shared a series of posts on social media highlighting U.S. national security, tax policy achievements, and record-breaking oil production.

On September 2, 2025, Nehls expressed gratitude to the President for recent developments in national security. He wrote: “America and the world just got a whole lot safer. Thank you, @POTUS! “

The following day, September 3, 2025, Nehls referenced past legislative actions regarding tax cuts. He stated: “Congressional Republicans and President Trump delivered historic tax cuts for Americans across the country. We are putting America First and providing tax relief for working families. Promises made, promises kept. “

On September 4, 2025, Nehls discussed energy policy and recent milestones in crude oil production. He posted: “U.S. crude oil production hit an all-time high of 13.58 million barrels per day in the month of June. The Lone Star State was a key contributor to production. This is what happens when we unleash American energy and roll back Green New Scam policies. DRILL BABY DRILL!”

Nehls has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 22nd congressional district since first winning election in 2020 against Sri Preston Kulkarni with approximately 51% of the vote. He was re-elected in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins over Jamie Jordan and Marquette Greene-Scott respectively.
