Congressman Troy E. Nehls, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 22nd district since 2021, recently shared several updates on social media regarding significant legislative and judicial developments.
On June 18, 2025, Congressman Nehls announced that “The Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law banning transgender surgeries, puberty blockers, and cross-sex hormones for minors.” He described this decision as “a major win for common sense and America’s children.”
Later that day, Nehls expressed his patriotic sentiments with a brief message on social media: “God bless America. “
On June 19, 2025, Nehls highlighted an economic initiative called The One, Big, Beautiful Bill. According to his post, “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill will increase yearly take-home pay by up to $13,000 for a typical family of four in Texas.” He urged support for this pro-family legislation to be signed into law.
Troy Nehls was born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1968 and currently resides in Richmond. He holds a BA from Liberty University.
