Congressman Troy E. Nehls, representing Texas’ 22nd district since 2021, has recently taken to social media to express his views on various topics. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1968 and currently residing in Richmond, Nehls graduated from Liberty University with a BA and replaced Pete Olson in the U.S. Congress.

On May 10, 2025, Congressman Nehls announced via Twitter that “President Trump signed an executive order to establish a national center for our nation’s homeless veterans with redirected funds that were previously used on services for illegal aliens.” He emphasized prioritizing the needs of veterans over those of “illegal aliens.”
