Of the 806,497 people living in Fort Bend County, Texas in 2021, 50.7% (408,759) were women and 49.3% (397,738) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by SW Houston News.

Data showed the average age for women in Fort Bend County in 2021 was 37 years, lower than the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, women aged 18 and over outnumbered men in the same age group by 9,214. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 42,235 men and 49,144 women.
