Texas GOP launches fundraiser spotlighting 'most sweeping conservative change' in State Legislature
The Republican Party of Texas has kicked off a new fundraising campaign, touting what they describe as "probably the most sweeping conservative change passed in our Texas State Legislature," according to The Texas Voice. Republican Party of Texas Chairman Matt Rinaldi touted the range of legislative achievements including banning diversity, equity and inclusion programs at public universities, restricting men from competing in women's sports, and imposing felony charges for violations of Texas election law, among other significant changes.

On August 10th, Tucker Carlson released an interview on his Platform X account which featured Steven Sund, the former Capital Police Chief who was in charge on January 6, 2021. Carlson said they had previously done a lengthy interview with Sund, which was supposed to be released in April, but never was, so he redid the interview asking Sund about everything he saw on that day that wasn’t made known to the public.
