Congressman Troy E. Nehls, representing Texas' 22nd district, recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Nehls has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021 and has taken a firm stance on matters related to immigration and aviation regulations.

On November 20, 2024, Congressman Nehls addressed the conviction of an individual for the murder of Laken Riley. He stated, "An *illegal alien* was convicted of murdering Laken Riley. She should still be alive today. Jose Ibarra should have never been in our country in the first place. God bless Laken Riley, and God bless Laken Riley’s family and friends."

Later that day, Nehls directed a message to Democratic leaders regarding their stance on deportations. He tweeted on November 20, 2024: "My message to Democrat Mayors and Governors who are saying they won’t cooperate with mass deportations of illegal aliens: You need to wake up and get out of the way. We will make America safe again."

The following day, on November 21, 2024, Congressman Nehls expressed his opinion on aviation policy reform. He advocated for changes in age restrictions for pilots by stating: "The U.S. should be leading the effort to end the arbitrary and unscientific age limit for our nation's most experienced pilots. I was happy to lead the effort in the House of Representatives, and I look forward to eliminating this restriction."
