On November 21, 2024, Congressman Nehls commented on recent actions by ICE Boston, stating that "ICE Boston arrested two illegal aliens charged with forcibly raping children in Massachusetts." He also mentioned an individual previously convicted of a similar crime in Brazil who was caught and released at the U.S. border in 2022. Nehls added a critical remark regarding Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey.
