Troy E. Nehls, a Congressman representing Texas' 22nd district since 2021, recently shared his views on several issues via social media. Nehls, born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1968 and now residing in Richmond, took to Twitter to express his opinions on political matters and law enforcement concerns.

On December 2, 2024, Nehls questioned President Joe Biden's previous statements regarding pardoning his son Hunter Biden. He remarked: "Remember when Joe Biden said he wouldn’t pardon his son, Hunter Biden? Me too."

Later that day, Nehls made a brief statement regarding former President Donald Trump: "President Trump was right again!" The tweet included a link for further context.

On December 3, 2024, Nehls addressed criminal activities involving an alleged member of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. He stated: "A suspected member of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua has been charged with capital murder and aggravated kidnapping in Texas. Members of Tren de Aragua continue to wreak havoc across the country. We need mass deportations ASAP."
