Troy E. Nehls, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 22nd District since 2021, recently expressed his views on immigration policies through a series of tweets. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and currently residing in Richmond, Nehls has been vocal about deportation measures.
On December 4, 2024, Nehls advocated for support from mayors and governors nationwide for President Trump's plan to deport illegal aliens. He stated: "It’s time for mayors and governors across the entire country to get on board with President Trump’s plan to deport illegal aliens."
Later that day, Nehls highlighted issues related to illegal immigration. He tweeted: "Americans have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens. Tren de Aragua has a presence in at least 16 states. Fentanyl has poured across our border. How does Secretary Mayorkas sleep at night?"
On December 5, he emphasized the need to prioritize the deportation of criminal illegal aliens and urged federal agencies to collaborate with state and local authorities in this effort: "We must deport criminal illegal aliens first. Our federal agencies need to work with our state and local agencies to identify these individuals, get them on a plane, and send them back to where they came from. Make America Safe Again."
