Congressman Troy E. Nehls, representing Texas' 22nd district since 2021, has been vocal on social media regarding the state of the U.S. justice system and President Biden's actions. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1968, Nehls now resides in Richmond and holds a BA from Liberty University.

On December 10, 2024, Congressman Nehls expressed his concerns about judicial shortages in federal district courts via a tweet: "The bipartisan JUDGES Act passed unanimously in the Senate. Our federal district courts are experiencing severe judicial shortages, causing Americans nationwide to be denied access to our nation’s justice system." He urged President Biden to address these issues promptly.

Continuing his critique on December 11, 2024, Nehls tweeted: "Despite Americans, including Texans in my district, being denied access to our nation’s justice system, President Biden would rather play political games. Shameful." This statement underscores his dissatisfaction with what he perceives as political maneuvering by the administration at the expense of judicial efficiency.
