Congressman Troy E. Nehls, representing Texas' 22nd district since 2021, recently shared his perspectives on various political issues through a series of tweets. The congressman, who succeeded Pete Olson and holds a BA from Liberty University, addressed topics ranging from sports policies to city funding.

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Nehls announced that "President Trump just signed an executive order to keep men out of women’s sports." He quoted President Trump saying, "The war on women’s sports is over."

The following day, February 6, 2025, Nehls tweeted succinctly about his stance on urban policy: "Defund sanctuary cities."

Later the same day, he commented on the leadership in the White House by stating that "A strong leader returned to the White House on January 20th," adding that "Leadership matters."
