Congressman Troy E. Nehls, currently representing Texas' 22nd District in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets on February 5, 2025, addressing various national topics.

In a tweet posted on February 5, 2025, Congressman Nehls announced the confirmation of Pam Bondi as the new Attorney General of the United States. He extended his congratulations to her, stating: "NEWS: Pam Bondi has just been confirmed as the new Attorney General of the United States. Congratulations, @PamBondi!"

Later that day, Congressman Nehls expressed his views on gender and sports. On National Girls and Women in Sports Day, he highlighted President Trump's forthcoming executive order aimed at restricting biological men from participating in women's sports. Nehls tweeted: "Biological men do not belong in women’s sports. Today, on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, President Trump will sign an executive order to keep biological men out of women’s sports. Common sense has returned to the White House!"

In another post from February 5, 2025, Nehls questioned why Democrats were reacting negatively to revelations made by DOGE regarding governmental inefficiencies. He asked: "Why are Democrats melting down over @DOGE exposing waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government?"
