Congressman Troy E. Nehls, representing Texas' 22nd district since 2021, has recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. These tweets address topics ranging from sports legislation to aviation infrastructure and legal proceedings.

On March 4, 2025, Congressman Nehls expressed concern over the participation of men in women's sports. He stated that "Nearly 80% of Americans believe men shouldn’t be able to compete in women’s sports." He criticized the decision of 45 Senators who voted against a bill intended to prevent men from competing in women's sports, stating, "They’re out of touch. Plain and simple."

Later that day, Nehls announced his role as Chairman of the House Aviation Subcommittee and his intention to hold a hearing regarding the nation's air traffic control system. In his tweet at 15:36 UTC, he remarked that "In its current form, our ATC system is unsustainable." He invited the public to tune into the hearing for further insights.

In another tweet posted at 18:11 UTC on March 4, Nehls commented on a legal case involving Daniel Penny. He criticized Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for charging Penny with manslaughter despite Penny's actions being described as defense of others. Nehls expressed relief at Penny's acquittal by stating "Thankfully, Penny was fully acquitted by a jury of his peers." He concluded by calling Daniel Penny a hero.
