Troy E. Nehls, a Congressman representing Texas' 22nd district since 2021, has recently shared several updates on his social media platform. Nehls, who succeeded Pete Olson, is actively involved in legislative activities and community matters.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman Nehls announced that his resolution to censure Congressman Al Green had gained significant support. He stated: "Update: My resolution to censure Congressman Al Green has over 25 cosponsors and counting. We’re moving full steam ahead."

Earlier the same day, Nehls introduced the resolution citing unacceptable behavior by Rep. Al Green during a joint session of Congress attended by President Trump. He remarked: "I just introduced a resolution to censure Rep. Al Green. His behavior last night during President Trump’s joint session of Congress was shameful and inexcusable, and his actions brought shame to the great state of Texas."

In another update on March 5, 2025, Nehls expressed condolences for the passing of Rep. Sylvester Turner. He posted: "Jill and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Rep. Sylvester Turner. Please join us in praying for his family, loved ones, and the folks of the 18th Congressional District of Texas."
