In a post dated March 27, 2025, Congressman Nehls highlighted the challenges faced by truckers, emphasizing, "Truckers should have access to bathrooms while on the road. Truckers shouldn’t be forced to park on the side of the road. And truckers shouldn’t be mandated to have speed limiters on their trucks." He expressed pride in advocating for truckers' rights in Congress.
On March 28, 2025, Nehls criticized the Democratic Party, asserting that "The Democrat Party is out of touch with what the American people truly care about. No wonder why their approval rating is at 27%."
Later on the same day, Nehls discussed public broadcasting, indicating his support for defunding NPR and PBS. He remarked, "NPR and PBS shouldn’t receive a single penny of Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars. Proud to cosponsor @RonnyJacksonTX’s bill to defund these biased outlets."
