Troy Nehls, a Congressman representing Texas' 22nd district since replacing Pete Olson in 2021, shared several statements over recent days on social media, expressing dissatisfaction with national news coverage and extending community greetings for a religious observance.

On April 17, Nehls questioned the media attention given to different crimes. He noted the absence of broadcast time by major networks for the trial of Rachel Morin's killer, contrasting it with substantial coverage of the deportation of an MS-13 gang member, which he called "shameful."

Shortly after, Nehls posted a link to another source, though its content was unspecified in his tweet of April 17. Nehls provided the link at https://t.co/fLXdOQxO4N.

On April 18, Congressman Nehls addressed his constituents with holiday greetings, wishing those in Texas' 22nd district a "blessed Good Friday."

Troy Nehls, 55, born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, presently resides in Richmond. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.
